How to Play

  1. Set Up the Table
    Choose the number of players, enter everyone’s names, and select a starting cash amount.
  2. Begin the First Round
    The AI creates a one-sentence “offer”
  3. Announce the Offer
    Read the generated item or experience aloud so everyone knows what they’re bidding on.
  4. Silent Bidding
    Each player enters a secret bid between $0 and their remaining cash.
  5. Confirm Bids
    Submit your bid by pressing Enter. Once all active players have locked in, bidding closes.
  6. Reveal the Winner
    All bids appear at once. The highest bid wins.
    If there’s a tie, the earliest player in turn order wins.
  7. Pay and Collect
    The winner pays their bid amount and adds the offer to their “won items.”
  8. Start a New Round
    As long as at least one player still has cash, the AI generates the next offer. If there’s only one player remaining, allow them to purchase the next three items, then end the game.
  9. Ending the Game
    The game ends when players decide to stop or when everyone is out of money (or three rounds after there’s only one player with cash).
    The winner is the player who is most satisfied with their purchases.

Rule Variations

  • Scarcity Mode – Play to a set number of rounds, then end the game
  • Big Money Mode – Start with more money for dramatic bidding swings.
  • Team Auction – Pair up and combine cash for shared strategy and chaotic debates.
